meterless Refund Policy
Version 1.0. Effective 6 October 2026.
Paid subscriptions are not yet open. This policy applies to you from the day you subscribe.
This page sets out, in one place, when you get money back. It repeats the Terms of Service, the Make-Good Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy; if anything here differs from the Terms, the Terms govern.
When a payment is refunded
A payment is refunded only:
- under Paddle's Refund Policy;
- under your right to withdraw, if you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland;
- in the cases set out under "Cases where we refund" below; or
- where the law otherwise gives you a right to a refund.
Cancelling your subscription stops future payments. Unless one of the cases above applies, it does not refund the month you have paid for. You can cancel at any time in one click, and nothing further is charged after that month.
Paddle's Refund Policy
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's Refund Policy, which sets out when Paddle makes a refund and the further rights the law gives you in some countries.
Right to withdraw (UK, EEA and Swiss consumers)
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you may withdraw from a subscription within 14 days of starting it, and from a top-up within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. To withdraw, use the "Withdraw from contract here" button on your account page, or contact Paddle, which sold it to you: through the Paddle Customer Portal, using the "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle confirmation email; at Paddle's buyer support site, paddle.net; or by email to help@paddle.com. If you asked for your studio, or your top-up, to start during those 14 days, we keep the share of the price that matches the share of the hours you have used, and refund the rest.
Cases where we refund
| Situation | What you get | When |
|---|---|---|
| You subscribe, we take payment, and we cannot provide your studio within 24 hours | The payment in full, in place of any credits for that payment (Make-Good Policy, section 1) | Within 14 days |
| We end your account other than for your breach, or stop providing meterless | A refund for the unused share of that month's plan hours and any unused top-up hours (Terms, section 12) | Within 14 days |
| A change during a paid month removes a tool or model you were using, or otherwise reduces what you get, and you end your subscription within 30 days of it | A refund for the unused share of that month's plan hours and any unused top-up hours (Terms, section 9) | Within 14 days |
| A change to the Acceptable Use Policy required by law, by a supplier or by Paddle stops you doing something you were doing lawfully, and you end your subscription within 30 days | A refund for the unused share of that month's plan hours and any unused top-up hours (Acceptable Use Policy, section 11) | Within 14 days |
| We close your account for a serious or repeated breach | No refund, except where the law requires one (Terms, section 12) | Not applicable |
How to ask for a refund
Paddle handles every refund request. If one of the cases above applies, ask Paddle at paddle.net or by email to help@paddle.com. You do not need to give a reason to withdraw. Where we end your account other than for breach, or cannot provide your studio after taking payment, we arrange the refund with Paddle without your asking. Where a refund is due under this page, Paddle makes it to the payment method you used, no later than 14 days after the request or the event that gives rise to it; your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to show it.
What a refund ends
If a subscription payment is refunded, or you withdraw from your subscription, your subscription ends and your studio closes. We keep your storage for 30 days. If a top-up is refunded, or you withdraw from it, its remaining hours are removed.
What is not a refund
Make-good credits for failed starts, interruptions, substitutions and lost snapshots are hours on your plan, not money. The Make-Good Policy explains them.
Your rights by law
Nothing on this page limits a refund right the law gives you.
